Platform Rules
User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Bidbee
You must provide accurate and truthful information
You are responsible for maintaining account security
One account per person is allowed
Acceptable Use
Use the platform for legitimate buying and selling
Treat other users with respect and courtesy
Provide accurate descriptions of items for sale
Honor your bids and complete transactions
Bidding & Transactions
Bidding Rules
• All bids are binding commitments
• Bids must be higher than current amount
• Winners must complete the transaction
• Bid amounts are held in secure escrow
Transaction Rules
• Meet in safe, public locations
• Inspect items before confirming receipt
• Report any issues immediately
• Complete transactions within 7 days
Prohibited Activities
Strictly Forbidden
Selling illegal or restricted items
Fraudulent or misleading listings
Bid manipulation or fake bidding
Harassment or abusive behavior
Circumventing platform fees
Spam or unwanted communications
Impersonating other users
Scraping or automated access
Payment & Escrow
How Escrow Works
Bid Placement
Your bid amount is securely held in escrow
Auction End
Winner's payment stays in escrow, losers get refunded
Transaction Complete
Payment released to seller after buyer confirms receipt
Platform Fees
Liability & Disclaimers
Platform Responsibility
Bidbee facilitates transactions but does not guarantee item quality or authenticity
Users are responsible for inspecting items before confirming receipt
We provide dispute resolution assistance but cannot guarantee outcomes
Platform availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted for maintenance
User Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity on your account
Verify item details and seller information before bidding
Meet in safe, public locations for item exchanges
Report suspicious activity or violations immediately
Changes to Terms
Updates & Notifications
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll notify users via email and display a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
Notification method: Email and in-app notifications
Effective date: 30 days after notification
Your options: Accept changes or delete your account
